Brymo had the impression that Amanda had intimately gotten involved with the manager. This made him jealous that he couldn’t even settle the mess he had already put Amanda
through.To Amanda’s surprise, Brymo didn’t even talk to her as she had expected. He didn’t even apologize for what happened but rather ignored her.
” Brymo, i want us to talk” Amanda said “About what Amanda? Tell me? Brymo asked.
“Why are you doing this? Brymo, am I the one to blame after sleeping with my own sister” Amanda said. “Oh yes, i did. I:m sorry about that yeah, but two wrongs do make a right” Brymo said.
“What wrongs Brymo? What are you talking about? Amanda asked. All of a sudden their conversation was interrupted when Ama the secretary to the resource manager showed up.
“Brymo, I have been waiting for long. Lunch will soon be over” Ama said interrupting the conversation. Brymo didn’t give Amanda the listening ear. He just walked out of her.
Something fishy was going on. From the look of things, Brymo and Ama have been getting along very well within the shortest time Brymo got employed. Amanda knew Brymo couldn’t be trusted around Ama. She knows him and knows what he is capable of doing. This only worsened her plight as she begun thinking more of Brymo’s attitude. She really loved him, and aside Brymo’s cheating life, he has really been caring and loving. In times like this, just to protect the relationship, she tries to take the blame even though it was obvious that she was not at fault.
Amanda was just willing to give Brymo some time for him to come around. Days went by and Brymo indeed kept his distance from Amanda. Amanda was just waiting for Brymo to approach her. She had even forgiven Rapha and with time, they were also getting along, little did she know that Rapha was carrying
Brymo’s child. The waiting became too long for Amanda. She decided to surprise him with gifts. She bought something she knew Brymo loved so much. She packaged it nicely and went to place it on his front desk in the absence of him. Brymo came back to meet the package on his desk, however, he thought the gift was from Ama. It never occurred to him that Amanda will do such a thing. Without asking Ama or even Amanda, he promised to take Ama out for dinner right after work. Again, Amanda felt her effort was in vain.
She was giving up on Brymo. It was obvious Brymo and Ama had something going on.
Amanda couldn’t control herself. She kept thinking and weeping for something that was not worth it. Was it wrong to sacrifice so much for the one she loved? Probably, love was not her portion.These among others kept running through her mind that it even began affecting her productivity level at work. She needed a break. She thought of staying away from the
site of Brymo till she completely gets over him. This influenced her to seek for a leave at work.
Fortunately for her, it was granted in no time. She wanted to use this opportunity to turn on a new page in her life and put Brymo behind her.
The last working day before she proceeded on leave, Amanda wanted to leave the cashier quarters quick before Brymo would see her.
She took her hand bag and without saying a word to anyone, she just left the workplace and headed home.
Unfortunately for her, Amanda got knocked down by a private car when she was trying to cross the road. Luckily for her, the impact was not great leaving no wounds on her. The driver knowing very well he was at fault, came
down and helped Amanda. He was a gentleman and very courteous. He then helped
Amanda and insisted that he takes her to the hospital for check up. Amanda refused initially because she felt she was fine.
Danny, the driver was able to convince her and eventually took her to the hospital.
It seems Danny was well connected, Amanda just went through protocol giving her no stress in joining queue patients. Almost all the doctors and other health personnel already
knew him. In no time, Amanda had gone through a successful check up. Nothing serious was detected on her though.
Danny then decided to take Amanda back to wherever her destination was. On their way, Amanda was once again lost in the thought of Brymo. Danny on the other side instantly
noticed it. “Are you ok? Danny asked. Amanda didn’t hear him asked that question.
“Hello Madam” Danny called her with a tap on her shoulder while driving. Amanda then came back to herself and realized that Danny had
been trying to get her attention.
“Sorry, come again” Amanda said.” You seem distracted, just wanted to know if you’re ok”
Danny asked. “Yeah I am, just have a couple of things on my mind now, but am ok” Amanda said.” Ok. Am really sorry for what happened earlier today, its entirely my fault. I had this family issues that i just couldn’t get it off my mind. ” Danny said.
“Funny world isn’t it? We all have a own problems that eat us up” Amanda said. Danny then brought a proposal to ride around town and probably get to know each other. It seems like a good idea to Amanda, she even opted for them sit somewhere so they talk.
“sounds perfect to me, at least we can get a reason to smile at our worries” Danny said.
Right from that moment, they got along very well with each other. They never mentioned their problems, all they talked about was life in general, made fun of things and laughed
through out their conversation.
At that moment, they forgot about all that was happening in their lives and enjoyed the moment they just had.
Meanwhile, Rapha was so pissed that ever since she informed Brymo about her pregnancy, he had completely ignored her. He didn’t pick her calls or even returned them.
Rumor had already gone out that Appiah was going out with one of his colleagues at work. Rapha had heard of it and honestly was not relieved about it.
Even though she promise herself not to get intimately involved with Brymo anymore she was not pleased with what she was hearing.
Out of anger, she stormed Brymi’s office that afternoon to confront him. It became a heated argument when Brymo began denying the responsibility of the pregnancy. Rapha was not as sober as her sister Amanda. The rage in her heart grew.
“Look Brymo, you can deny your girlfriend Amanda but you can’t deny the responsibility of your child. ” Rapha said. Brymo tried to drive her away from his office, out of struggle Rapha noticed that she was bleeding, shortly after her realization; she felt a sharp pain in her abdomen. Brymo quickly rushed her to the hospital. Rapha insisted that Brymo should call her sister Amanda who was by then
having a good time with Danny. Rapha wanted Amanda to be by her side at the hospital.
Brymo called Amanda, but she refused to answer his call. Amanda thought Brymo had now come to his senses and probably was calling to apologize. Upon trying several times, he resulted into texting her. That was what got Amanda’s attention.
“Oh no, Dan, my sister was just rushed to the hospital” Amanda told Danny. They then quickly rushed to the hospital together. Brymo
upon seeing them was surprised. He was not surprised that Amanda was with a different guy but this guy in question was his elder brother whom they really couldn’t get along.
